This documentary will look at two local businesses in Ithaca, NY that opened during the pandemic. Specifically, this documentary will look into why these businesses decided to open now during a pandemic. What steps do they aim to take to stay open? What are their long-term goals, post-pandemic? We will also be covering businesses that are struggling to remain open and/or have already closed or laid-off employees because of COVID-19 restrictions. Looking ahead, what does a future look like for these small businesses? How will the pandemic shift the way small businesses are run moving forward?
