I am a multimedia journalist from Long Island, NY. I have a passion for finding and telling important, compelling stories viewers will care about. I love covering breaking news and thrive in the fast-paced newsroom environment. 

 

I am currently a Producer at News 12 Westchester/Hudson Valley. I started at News 12 producing the weekend morning shows and the 8 PM show Monday through Wednesday. I then moved to produce the nightside shows on the weekends and continued on the 8 PM show Monday through Wednesday. About a year into my time with News 12, I got promoted to work Monday through Friday producing solely the 8 PM newscast. This allowed me to grow as a producer, take ownership of the show, work more closely with the anchors, reporters and photographers, and create a unique style for the 8 PM newscast. I also have extensive experience filling in for the 5 PM and 10 PM newscasts. 

 

Before News 12, I interned at WROC-TV News 8. After my internship, I was hired as a part-time producer for the station’s noon show. I produced once a week, while finishing up my senior year as a Journalism major at Ithaca College. 

 

My other internship experience includes interning with CNN’s National Security Newsgathering team and interning with NBC’s Dateline. 

 

I also have a background in international politics.
